Why Are My GPU Fans Not Spinning?

1. Normal Fan Behavior (Zero RPM Mode)

Many modern GPUs have a Zero RPM mode, where the fans remain off at low temperatures to reduce noise. The fans only spin when the GPU reaches a certain temperature threshold (usually around 50-60°C).

✅ Fix: Check your GPU temperature using software like MSI Afterburner, HWMonitor, or GPU-Z. If temps are low, the fans may not need to spin.

2. Driver or Software Issues

Outdated or corrupted GPU drivers can cause fan control malfunctions. Additionally, third-party software (like fan control utilities) may interfere with default settings.
